World Braille Day

It was World Braille Day on 4th January. Alicia (Mexico class) and two of the teaching assistants took assembly to talk about Braille and what it is like to be visually impaired. Mrs Hayes and Mrs Flinders, who have been learning Braille, demonstrated the Braille typewriters, giving the children a greater understanding of  this important form of communication.Â
