Yr 3/4 Arundel Wildfowl & Wetlands Visit

Published: 10 Nov '25

New Zealand, Sierra Leone and USA classes spent an informative morning at the Arundel Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust as part of their topic on rivers and water. After time exploring the centre, they visited the Pelican Cove and heard about Ava’s Story. At the end of their visit, each child received a Generation Wild login so that they can go online and explore the natural world as part of Ava's Story. This follows her on her journey via an interactive website and encourages the children to carry out nature activities in the school grounds, gardens and local green spaces, at the end of which they can receive a certificate.
