Roosters After School Club

St Mary’s CofE (Aided) Primary School runs an after school club run by St Mary’s staff. It is based in Peru classroom, with use of the playground and field, weather permitting.

The club runs on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday after school during term time. It is open to all year groups, with 4 bookable sessions available. Booking and payments can be made via the MyChildAtSchool app.

Bookings must be made at least two nights before the required sessions; after this time bookings only can be made via the School Office. You can also cancel bookings on the same system.

We currently accept childcare vouchers from: Edenred, Computershare, Kiddivouchers and Enjoy Benefits. If you would like to use vouchers, please contact the Office for details.

Session 1: straight after school until 4.30pm - £9.00

Session 2: straight after school until 5.30pm - £14.00

Session 3: straight after an after school club (ie karate, football, etc) until 4.30pm - £2.00

Session 4: straight after an after school club (ie karate, football, etc) until 5.30pm - £9.00

The cost includes a snack and drink at 4pm (such as crumpets, toast or fruit).

Although we hold on file the dietary and medical needs from your child’s application form, please email with any current medical or dietary information that you feel the after school staff should be aware of.

If your child brings their phone into school, this must be kept in their bag until they are collected. No other electronic devices should be in school.

If a child is not collected on time at the end of their booked session, there will be a charge of £3 per 15 minutes added to your MyChildAtSchool account; this must be cleared before future bookings can be made.

Pickups at different times are not possible, unless in exceptional emergency circumstances, in which case  the School Office should be informed. (For example, if booked until 4.30pm, pick up at 4.20pm is not possible unless there is an emergency.)
