EYFS celebrate Diwali

UK and Thailand class have been learning about Diwali.

Diwali is known as the 'festival of lights' because houses, shops and public places are decorated with small oil lamps called 'diyas'. The word Diwali means 'rows of lighted lamps' and is celebrated by Hindu, Sikh and Jain people across the world.

It was great to see their outfits and see the range of learning activities that were going on.
