Lent and Shrove Tuesday

In worship today we started thinking about Lent. We talked about clearing the cupboards in a 'spring clean'. The children thought we had the ingredients to make pancakes. Oscar and Toby came and mixed the ingredients and then we made our pancakes. All of us were good at tossing the pancakes. Oscar chose golden syrup on his pancake and Toby had chocolate. We watched the Bible Story of Jesus going into the wildnerness for 40 days and 40 nights and we thought about everything he had to give up!
