Year 6 took on the roles of evacuees in our Evacuee Day. The children dressed the part and had name labels of evacuees who were evacuated during WW2 from Peckham to Pulborough. The children headed to the train station to the sounds of the air raid siren (an original one), they went via the pill box on the hill and the church to look at war graves of which we have three. A brilliant morning for our children to learn about our village.Â
