SIAMS Report (Church School Inspection)

This is the most recent National Society Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist School Report.

As a Church of England Aided primary school, we are inspected as a church school every five years. In November 2014 we were inspected under the new SIAMS framework. It gives me great pleasure to attach the full report to the school website.

As you can see from the report, we were inspected in 4 areas:

  • The distinctiveness and effectiveness as a Church of England school
  • Meeting the needs of all learners
  • The impact of collective worship on the school community
  • The effectiveness of the religious education

We have achieved an outstanding rating in two areas and good in two. An action plan will be drawn up to address the areas for development. As with the OFSTED inspections, the bar has been raised considerably over the past few years, but we are delighted with these results.

I was very pleased to note the many positive comments about the school, especially “The physical Christian environment, climate and ethos, strongly affect pupils’ outstanding spiritual, moral, social and cultural development.”
