Table Tennis - Forest School

Eight children across Key Stage 2 travelled to Forest School in Horsham on Friday to participate in a Table Tennis skills festival. After learning some key vocabulary and facts about the sport, the children learnt about the many ways of gripping a bat as well as serving using both a forehand and a backhand.
They then moved on to a series of target games involving miniature rugby posts, cricket stumps, a wooden archery butt, numbered cards and towers of plastic cups before finishing with a set of rallies.
Well done to all the children that took part - Skye T, Kevin M, Bea K, Ivy D, Freya C, Daisy B, Victoria L and Bowie W-V.
