Yr 4 Rainforest Forest Schools

The children in Sierra Leone and USA classes had fantastic fun in the sunshine at Forest School this week for our super starter days for this term's 'Rumble in the Jungle' topic. 

They took part in a range of exciting activities including making delicious rainforest cookies, fabric printing with leaves and plants, planting pollinators, hapazome and completing a rainforest and woodland animal hunt. We also enjoyed sharing the beautiful book 'The Inner Sense of Trees,' writing rainforest poems and making dye baths using beetroot, hibiscus and saffron.
