Yr 4 Clarinet concert

This term, Sierra Leone and USA class have had the pleasure of learning the clarinet with Mrs Eames. Over the past 9 weeks, they have learned, not only how to assemble and play the clarinet, but how to read music and play different rhythms.

The children loved learning the ‘Boom, Snap, Clap’ and ‘Tangerine Socks’ rhythms and enjoyed being able to play 3 different notes. Both classes learned Hot Cross Buns and some children were able to play ‘What makes you beautiful’. We were delighted to be able to welcome an appreciative group of parents to hear the results of the children’s labours, thank you for coming to support the children.
