Virtual Games

29th September 2020

St Mary's competed in their first 'Virtual' tournament of the new school year earlier this week. The Invasion Games event was run by coaches from Horsham District Council with other schools due to compete over the coming weeks. With the dry September weather and the field in perfect condition, South Africa, Mexico, Sierra Leone and Ireland classes completed a number of challenges in basketball, football, rugby, hockey and netball practising different skill sets associated with these sports. Great energy and enthusiasm was shown by all and a big thank you to the coaches from Horsham District Council for running the event.

We are hoping to run our next 'Virtual' event soon where the other classes in KS2 and hopefully KS1 will be able to compete for the school.
