A very excited Year 6 cohort arrived at the school for the Leavers' Ball in various modes of transport, ranging from a 1935 Morris 8 Tourer, a stretched limo and a huge tractor, right up to a BMW i8. After group photos, the children convened in the hall, which was specially decorated for the occasion, for an evening of 'cocktails', food, including the longest banana split the children had ever seen, and dancing. The dress code was formal and the girls looked stunning in their dresses, while the boys looked amazingly smart in suits and ties! It was a splendid way for Year 6 to spend a final evening having fun before moving on to their secondary schools. Thank you to Miss Frances and Mr Rogers for organising it all.
