Yr 5 - Moncrieff-Bray Gallery visit

We were delighted that Mexico class had the opportunity to visit the Moncrieff-Bray Gallery near Petworth this week. Having explored the Sculpture Trail and examined the pictures, especially the landscapes by Ann Oram, they spent an afternoon back at school creating their own landscapes under the watchful eye of Maureen Wells, who also gave them some useful tips on how to use texture in painting by using dry-brush and stippling techniques. They produced some most impressive pieces - well done, Mexico class!
