Over the Summer holidays Mrs Vicky Smith, one of our ex-teachers, visited Zambia with her church group to help with building work and teaching. She has just sent us these pictures of her visit.
Earlier in the year we had restocked our KS1 library so we donated lots of our old Oxford Reading Tree books to Vicky to take out to Africa with her. She shared the books with the children she met to help with their literacy skills. When she returned she thanked the school for the books and said "The children were so grateful, it was incredibly humbling".
