It has been a busy week of sporting events with three teams of children going off to events around the county. On Monday afternoon, a group of children from Year 4 and 5 went to the Weald for a dance workshop. They learned lots of new skills and were able to practice dances with specialised coaches.
On Tuesday morning, a group of eight Year 4 and 5 boys went to Horsham cricket club to take part in a boys' cricket competition. They had great fun, played lots of matches and came 8th overall.
Then on Tuesday afternoon, a group of Year 5 and 6 children went to Billingshurst Leisure Centre to compete in the Weald Locality Swimming Gala. The competition was fierce but the children all performed extremely well; we came 2nd overall and were only two points away from first place!
Well done to all the children who took part in events this week and a big thank you to the parents and adults who helped with lifts to make them happen.
