A couple of weeks ago Miss Wilkins organised a Science Enrichment Day for our Year 6 children to broaden their understanding of science, as well as focusing on careers for women in Science. The day was enhanced further by Harley Gasson, a McClaren engineer, who came and spoke to the children about how science links with his role. In addition to this, the children took part in a range of workshops that were very 'hands-on'. This included testing spit samples, making doodle bugs, building and testing water powered rockets and hovercraft races. Thank you to all who were involved
