Just Different

In conjunction with Anti-Bullying week, it was lovely to welcome Helen Hewson from 'Just Different' who spoke to our Year 3 & 4 pupils. Helen was born with cerebral palsy; this means the muscles in her body do not always do what her brain tells them to do. She uses a speech synthesiser and an electric wheelchair. Helen got her first wheelchair at the age of 6 years old. Helen enjoys doing things that give her a purpose in life and she taught the children that everyone is different and should be treated equally.
