Japan - Forest School

Before the excitement of the summer production, the Yr 6 children in Japan class had the opportunity to spend a day outside at Forest School. They tried their hands at a variety of activities, including  making doughnuts, building fires and making friendship bracelets. They also made dyes from natural foraged items, such as flowers, and, most excitingly, found two female stag beetles! These have been logged on the PTES website. Some of the children also lent a hand in painting scenery for the production. They were very lucky with the weather and had a dry and warm day throughout!
