Hawking About

14th January 2019
On Monday, our Year 3 children were lucky enough to have an amazing visit from 'Hawking About'. They were able to see at first hand a range of owls and birds of prey and learn about what they eat, how they hunt and how they survive in the wild. The children then practised holding Fern, a baby tawny owl, and Midge a kestrel. They all had a fantastic time and learned a great deal.
