Harvest Fayre - Art Display

'The Big Frieze'

During Art Week 2019, the children at St Mary's created their own interpretations of the 'big story' of the Bible. The artwork illustrates the core concepts explored within 'Understanding Christianity.' These pieces reflect the children's understanding of Creation, 'The Fall,' People of God, Incarnation, Gospel, Salvation and Kingdom of God, inspired by the original wall frieze created by artist Emma Yarlett. 

The art work was displayed in church for the Harvest Fayre last weekend, along with a beautiful collection of pastel, paint and collage sunflowers produced by children from across the school.
