Forest Schools

21st March 2019
Our Reception children took advantage of the lovely Spring weather during one of their regular Forest School sessions last week. They made dyes and paint from natural materials by crushing them in a mortar and pestle.  They used hammers to bang nails into pieces of wood and then wove wool around the nails.  These kinds of activities help the children to develop their fine motor skills.  Our mud kitchen was also open for business.  The children also enjoyed a snack and a drink around the campfire.
