Evacuees' Day

20th November 2019

As part of their History topic, World War 2, the children in Year 6 took part in an 'Evacuee Day'. They looked spectacular in their evacuee outfits, and carrying their gas masks, experienced different aspects of life as an evacuee. The children baked rationing scones, made model Spitfires, wrote postcards home and were put through their 1940's PE paces with drill sergeant, Oli.
