On the evening of Tuesday 18 June, St Mary's Church was filled with families and friends for a concert given by the children, showcasing the varied musical talent we have in the school. We were treated to a marvellous selection of music, featuring the piano, woodwind, strings, plus Mr Rogers' ukulele group giving their first performance. Mrs Copus said " I was so amazed by the hidden talent of the children at St. Mary's. It was wonderful to see their poise and professionalism in front of a large audience, quite apart from their musicianship. It was obvious that a huge amount of practising had been going on behind the scenes. Thank you to all the music teachers, both from the West Sussex Music Service and our own staff, and to Mr Hancock for accompanying the children." Well done to all who took part, a splendid evening was had by all.
