Today we were delighted to welcome many visitors into the school to talk to the children about their varied careers. KS1 were most excited to see a tractor on the playground! Among the careers under the spotlight were Air Traffic Control, wireless communications, hospitality, chartered surveying, childcare, sales management, engineering, nursing, cake making, journalism and farming - guess where the tractor fitted in...
Our visitors explained to the children the different aspects of their jobs, showed videos and even played games. We are most grateful to all the organisations that were able to send representatives from their companies to the school, and thank you to all our visitors today and to Mrs Benson for organising the event.
