Bugfest!

UK and Austria classes had an exciting time in the School Hall today, as Bugfest came to visit. Nick brought lots of creepy-crawlies, including millipedes, stick insects, cockroaches, a scorpion and spiders, for the children to look at and for some of the braver ones to hold! Although the tarantula was very soft and fluffy to stroke, the fangs were quite impressive. Some of the staff also had a go at holding the spiders - a tarantula and a bird-eating spider! Nick also brought a vinegaroon, a type of whi[p scropion. It's not poisonous, but can give a bite which feels as if you've got vinegar into a cut. Thank you, Nick, for a fascinating morning.
