As most of the children were not in school for World Book Day, Mrs Copus decided to postpone it for a week so that all the children could enjoy this special event. The children were encouraged to come into school dressed as a book character and there were some very impressive costumes on show. During the day, the children took part in a QR Code Scavenger Hunt, tried to identify 'The Masked Reader' (thank you to the staff for volunteering for that!) and began their designs for a book cover.
Thank you to Miss G for masterminding all the events and to all the staff for their whole-hearted support, the children had a wonderful day!
