Service for Christingle

The whole school gathered in the hall on Friday for a service to celebrate Christingle. Having made the Christingles earlier in the week, the children shared what they had learnt about the symbolism of the orange and its component parts. With the help of staff, a number of children ‘became‘ a Christingle. The school also sang some Christingle songs, accompanied by Mr Hancock. What a splendid way to begin the Christmas season.
