I would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who participated in our village event. There was a huge array of scarecrows on the path from Lower St, which really showed off the creativity of the children. A special mention goes to Amelie, Ella and Polly who met every day after school and made their scarecrow from items they found in the Pocket Park and it was just fantastic. They deserve to be proud!
Thank you to Charlie (SA) and Luke (SA) who judged the vintage vehicle competition. It was a tough decision, but the winning entry was Mr and Mrs Hancock’s 1935 Morris 8 Tourer, Mabel.
Well done to the winners in the Scarecrow Competition:
1st Place - The Pulborough Giant - E Winters (SA)
2nd Place - Mary Poppins - Little Explorers
3rd Place - NHS Nurse - R & A Swyer (USA & India)
