U.K. and Austria class met Lisa Underwood, from Pulborough Parish council, and Fred, the head groundsman from Pulborough recreation ground. Lisa talked about the piece of land in Pocket Park that St. Mary’s Primary School will be caring for. Lisa kindly presented us with gardening tools, binoculars, a bird feeder and a mini-beast identification plaque, all kindly donated by Tesco as part of their helping the community scheme. Fred will also be making benches and positioning the bird feeder. The children very much enjoyed their time with Lisa and Fred, thank you both.
