Coronation artwork completed

South Africa, Japan and Mexico classes have completed their collaborative Coronation pieces. These were inspired by the work of Chuck Close, an artist, painter and photographer best known for his large-scale photo-realism portraits.

Each child had a section of the portrait to complete; they were then joined together to create the images of King Charles. The children applied their knowledge of primary, secondary and tertiary colours, adding tinted and shaded hues to their work. They enjoyed taking part in the project and were deservedly proud of the final pieces - well done all!
