Armistice Day

On Thursday 11 November, the whole school was involved in a service of Remembrance to honour the memory of those men and women who have lost their lives in the world wars and more recent conflicts. After a Zoom presentation, the children observed the 2 minute silence. Since half-term they have been making their own poppies which have been placed around the school and on the display in the front playground. Those children who belong to any of the uniformed groups such as Scouts, Cubs, Beavers and Brownies wore their uniforms to school with pride.
