SATs Breakfast Club

8th May 2017
Staff and parents offered a Breakfast club to Year 6 children to help make this stressful week more enjoyable. They were welcomed by a selection of fruit juices, yoghurts, fruit kebabs. Then a hot option each day with scrambled eggs, sausages, beans and spaghetti hoops and a range of bread products such as croissants, pain au chocolate, brioche, bagels, pancakes, waffles, muffins and crumpets with a range of toppings (jam, chocolate spread, golden syrup). We found that meeting early helps with anxiety levels, it also allows greater focus coming to school with a full stomach! The children commented that this is the highlight of their week. They wanted to carry on just for the breakfasts! They loved seeing what would be on the buffet as they came into school.
