This week is our Art Week. Each class is studying a book about a specific artist. They will be undertaking various art projects based on their book but cross curricular learning will also be very important. For example, Canada and Thailand classes are working with the book 'Katie and the Sunflowers'. Here they are working on their paintings but they will also be writing about the artists Vincent van Gogh, Gauguin and Cezanne, measuring the sunflowers that they have grown, estimating, learning about fractions and counting.
